Ashley Cuthbertson, M.Ed., NBCT (she/her) is a nationally recognized arts consultant, speaker, and author of Music As a Vehicle: A Practical Guide to Implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching in Todayā€™s Music Classrooms. With a background as a PK-12 music educator, teacher leader, and adjunct professor, Ashley now partners with schools, districts, and organizations to reimagine arts programs through a culturally relevant lens that builds critical skills for success in school, career, and life and integrate arts-based strategies that enhance learning, leadership, and team culture.

The arts provide a powerful vehicle for meaningful, relevant, and inclusive teaching across all subjects. This session explores how arts integration fosters student engagement, deepens learning, and promotes equity by connecting instruction to studentsā€™ lived experiences. Educators will gain practical strategies to use music, drama, visual arts, and dance to create meaningful, learning experiences connected to relevant, real-world experiences in non-arts content areas.
