Toluca Rivers is a former educator turned entrepreneur who is passionate about promoting literacy and empowering young learners. After teaching for five years, Toluca founded Markers and Minions, a company dedicated to providing practical teaching materials that are both teacher and student-friendly. 

Toluca is committed to fostering a love of literacy and providing accessible, engaging resources that address the essential skills of spelling, phonics, reading comprehension, and writing. Her teaching resources are designed to help elementary students become confident and skilled readers, while also making learning enjoyable and accessible.

As a former teacher, Toluca understands the importance of supporting educators in guiding students on their literacy journey. Her goal is to help instill a lifelong love of reading in students, one word at a time. Through her work at Markers and Minions, Toluca is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners and their teachers.
